We moved to Llano in 2010 as retirees from the education business and have loved living in Llano ever since.  The Texas Hill Country is truly one of the most beautiful places to live and visit.  From the Llano river to the monthly events in the city to the beautiful spring wildflowers (Bluebonnets in particular) to the best deer hunting in Texas, there is always something to do or to go see. We have nearby lakes, caverns, wineries, and so much more, especially if you like to go shopping.  We are only 37 miles from the tourist town of Fredericksberg and 70 miles from the nightlife of Austin.

 

 

One of the selling features when we bought our house was the location of the property atop one of the highest hills around Llano.  We have what many call a million dollar view to the south of the hill country.  After enjoying the view the past five years, we decided we wanted to share with others the beauty of this country by offering a bed and breakfast and letting others come and have a great secluded place to stay while they are in the hill country.
